MODERNIZATION OF THE PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF FUTURE TEACHERS TO WORK WITH YOUNG SCHOOL STUDENTS: REALITIES AND PERSPECTIVES

Abstract

The article examines the resource reserves of future primary school teachers’ professional training in the formation of their creative personality and specifies the main directions in ensuring its productivity in the system of university education. It is established that future teachers’ preparation for professional activities with young schoolchildren involves: a) mastering the theoretical and pedagogical foundations of personally oriented learning and technologies for its implementation in work with elementary school students; b) development of the ability to develop a reflective strategy of the educational process, which allows to correlate it with the elements of heuristics in terms of goals, principles, content, forms and methods, systematic control and assessment of educational achievements; c) creation of situations that stimulate activity and a willingness to creatively search for solutions to professional problems; d) simulation of such circumstances in which students gain experience in creating a positive-emotional climate in the educational process; e) development of spiritual and moral potential and creative abilities; f) mastery of personally oriented technologies based on the principles of child-centeredness and pedagogical interaction, cooperation and co-creation in the system of "teacher-student" relations.
It is substantiated that the productivity of professional training is ensured by the acquisition of its content of a personally oriented orientation, implementation of the principle of student-centeredness; various types of activities and personally oriented technologies, built on the basis of interaction, cooperation and co-creation, dialogization of learning, the use of various forms and methods of organizing the educational process and provision of a set of pedagogical conditions, among which the following are effective: stimulation of the processes of adaptation and socialization in the conditions of a higher school, providing program material and technologies of personal orientation, improvement of organizational and technological aspects of practical activities with young schoolchildren.
Prospects for further scientific investigations lie in the development of the following aspects of the problem: theoretical justification of the methodology and technology of the personally oriented component of professional training based on the principle of child-centrism; studying the reserves of extracurricular work in enriching the creative potential of future teachers; identification of reserves of personally oriented technologies in the development of the subjectivity of future primary school teachers.
