Self-Archiving and Deposition Policy
General Provisions
The Editorial Board of the collection of scientific papers "Pedagogical Almanac" (hereinafter referred to as the Publication) supports the principles of Open Science and encourages authors to self-archive their scholarly works.
Author Rights to Self-Archiving
Authors publishing articles in the "Pedagogical Almanac" retain the right to store (deposit) versions of their manuscripts in open access:
-
Accepted Author Manuscript (AAM / Post-print) – the final author's version after peer review and acceptance for publication – may be deposited in open access immediately without any embargo period.
-
Version of Record (Publisher’s PDF / VoR) – the final version in the journal's layout – may be posted by authors after official publication.
-
Self-archiving of preprints (manuscript versions prior to peer review) is not permitted.
Permitted Deposition Platforms
Authors are free to deposit all permitted versions of their materials in:
-
Institutional repositories of higher education and research institutions;
-
Subject-specific (thematic) repositories;
-
Personal academic profiles;
-
The Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine;
-
Any other open-access platforms of the author's choice.
Licensing
The Publication applies the Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0). Authors retain copyright to their work and grant the Publication the right of first publication. The license allows for free use and distribution of the material, provided that proper credit is given to the authors and the Publication, and that the original licensing terms are maintained.
Recommendation to Authors
The Editorial Board strongly encourages authors to deposit their Accepted Author Manuscripts (AAM) in relevant institutional or thematic repositories simultaneously with or after publication. This practice enhances the visibility, citation rates, and scholarly accessibility of the published research.
