THEORETICAL ASPECTS OF SELF-DEVELOPMENT PERSONALITY OF APPLICANTS’ PRE-PROFESSIONAL MAJORS IN THE CONDITIONS OF EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Abstract

The article analyzes the main components of the content of such concepts as "professional self-development of personality", "self-development", the essence and ways of forming professional self-development in the future social worker; the ways of formation of self-development of future specialists in the social sphere in the conditions of extracurricular activities are presented; theoretical aspects of formation of professional self − development of students in the conditions of extracurricular activity are opened.
The work on the basis of theoretical analysis of philosophical, pedagogical, psychological, sociological literature reveals the scientific principles of extracurricular activities; the socio-pedagogical essence of the phenomena is determined: "activity", "extracurricular activity", "purposefulness in extracurricular activity", "applicant of a professional higher education institution".
The current level of extracurricular activities in the conditions of the educational institution of professional higher education is clarified. Conditions have been created for determining the criteria, indicators and levels of participation of applicants for professional higher education in extracurricular activities.
The article reveals and substantiates special forms and methods of working with applicants for professional higher education. Stages of formation and approbation of extracurricular activities are created. The list of necessary conditions for formation at applicants of vocational education of system of theoretical knowledge, practical abilities and skills necessary for effective realization of itself as the person in the course of professional training is resulted; promoting the development and formation of personal qualities that will contribute to the formation of themselves as a specialist in the social sphere. It is concluded that the effectiveness and feasibility of extracurricular activities is possible under the conditional activity of applicants for professional higher education, and this in turn requires study and experimentation for self-assessment and self-affirmation of future social workers as professionals.
