ANALYSIS OF LEARNING RESULTS IN THE PHYSICAL EDUCATION FIELD ACCORDING TO THE STATE STANDARDS OF BASIC SECONDARY EDUCATION (2011 & 2020)

Abstract

The results of training in the field of physical education, which are represented in the State Standards of Basic Secondary Education of 2020 and Basic and Comprehensive General Secondary Education of 2011, have been analysed in the article.

The state standard is a document that, based on Ukrainian and world pedagogy, regulates the education system at all levels, general secondary education in particular, and introduces innovative practices into the education system in order to achieve the main goal. The state standard is approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and revised once every ten years. The latest revision of the State Standard, in contrast to the State Standard of 2011, singles out separate fields of education such as informational, social and health, civic and historical, and also distinguishes physical culture.

The purpose and tasks have been revealed and compared, as well as the competence potential of the educational fields "Health and physical culture" (2011) and "Physical culture" (2020) has been determined. Particular attention is paid to the requirements that are put forward to the mandatory results of training in the field of physical education; which form the social and psychophysical spheres of students, as well as the awareness of motor activity to maintain a high level of health and satisfaction in the process of physical education.

The impact of the changes that are defined by the State Standard of the latest edition and affect the development of basic secondary education in Ukraine have been summarized in the article.

Among the promising areas of further research, special attention should be paid to the analysis of the basic curriculum, which is an integral part of the standard, typical educational programs and curricula of the latest edition, approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine; conditions that will contribute to the achievement of the established learning outcomes by participants of general secondary education.
