THE STRUCTURE OF CREATIVE SKILLS OF PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS AND WAYS OF THEIR FORMATION BY MEANS OF PROJECT TECHNOLOGIES
Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the structure of creative abilities of younger students and the research of ways of their formation using project technologies. The main aspects of creativity, the role of project activity in the development of creative abilities are characterized. The research is based on theoretical aspects of the psychology of child development and pedagogical approaches to the formation of creativity in the educational process. Creativity is one of the key competencies needed to succeed in today’s world, which requires constant innovation, critical thinking, and the ability to express oneself.
Younger students at the initial stages of their education are in a period of active development and formation of various skills and abilities. The ability to think creatively at this age can be particularly sensitive to external influence and support. Therefore, the study of the structure of creative abilities of younger students is an urgent task, as it provides an opportunity to understand which specific components of creative potential should be developed to improve the educational process. The use of project technologies is an effective way of forming creative abilities in younger students. It has been found that the following components belong to the structure of creative abilities of younger students such as visual thinking, spatial imagination, creative potential, creative thinking, emotional expression, inclination to research and creative self-expression. Project activity involves solving real tasks, promotes the development of creativity, independence and the ability to work in a team. It also promotes the development of critical innovative thinking, the search for alternative ways to solve a problem.
