Training of educational managers in modern higher education institutions

Abstract

The article deals with educational managers’ training in modern institutions of higher education. The attention is paid to the importance of the higher education branch standard of Ukraine and the educational and professional program in the implementation of Management master professional training («Management of educational institution»), in particular, future heads of educational institutions, on the level of professional competence of which depends the educational process effectiveness, the qualitative solution of financial and economic, business affairs, relationships in the team, the image of the institution as a whole. It has been established that the selection of subjects for the compulsory and selective components of the educational and professional program is based on the integrative approach, their logical sequence; taking into account modern social requirements for knowledge, the leader of the basics of marketing of the market of educational services, monitoring th quality of the educational process, accounting and education economy.
The content of professional knowledge, principles, methods, technologies, which are expedient to master the future managers of educational branch have been analysed. Approaches to professional training aimed at forming the professional competence of the future specialist, based on the leading strategies according to the basic concepts of modern higher education institution management, have been defined (innovative management of a higher education institution as an organization in which specialists are trained; pedagogical and educational management and research activities; opening of a higher education institution of the society and development of its corporate culture) and implemented in the process of studying disciplines of management, industrial practice, research work of future managers of educational branch. The professional training of the educational branch managers as a complex systemic formation, determined by the socio-economic situation in society, requires appropriate professional filling of its content, focused on constant self-development and professional development of a specialist.
