DIGITAL EDUCATIONAL HUBS IN INFORMATION-DIGITAL EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT FOR TRAINING OF FUTURE SPECIALISTS IN HOTEL AND RESTAURANT BUSINESS

Abstract

The article defines conceptual provisions of the research on digitalization and information-digital educational environment for training of education applicants. The definitions of the concepts "digitalization", "information-digital educational environment", "digital educational hubs", established in Ukrainian pedagogical science, are presented. The concept of "digital educational hub" is identified with places for every citizen to freely realize the possibility of free access to education and training in digital literacy due to the providers of this service - libraries, schools, universities, companies and private sector, IT organizations, ASC, public organizations. In the context of the study, a comprehensive characteristic of main components of digital educational hubs was carried out through the definition of the purpose, service providers and list of services, areas of activity, functions, principles, algorithm of activity, types of activity itself.
It is noted that for training of future specialists, in particular, in hotel and restaurant business, it is advisable, in addition to powerful university digital environments, to involve opportunities offered by the relevant Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
An analysis of the activities of the educational hub "Google Knowledge" was carried out by examining sections and headings ("Knowledge for school", "Knowledge for work", "Knowledge for life"). Emphasis is placed on the importance of the national project for the development of digital literacy Diya. The importance of digital education in building a partner network of more than 6,000 digital education hubs throughout Ukraine has been emphasized.
The role of public institutions, in particular the National Network of Ukrainian Educational Hubs, in the implementation of the concept of lifelong learning by directing efforts to the development of Ukraine’s human capital is clarified.
