Professional and pedagogical practice of education managers: basic principles and technology
Abstract
The article deals with actual problems of professional and pedagogical practice of education managers. It is focused on the specific principles of education managers’ practice, which are based on: propaedeutic orientation, connection with subjects of the psychological-pedagogical cycle, development of pedagogical thinking, personal orientation, dynamics of independence, reliance on the realities of pedagogical reality. The content of each principle is revealed.
The difficulties in organizing education managers’ professional and pedagogical practice are analysed. Such main difficulties are defined as those that related to the ability of the learner to reflect, moral choice in problematic situations, awareness of self-importance for other people, responsibility for the results of the activity, focus on the realization of self-education, self-analysis, self-development and self-determination, etc. The importance of mastering important individual procedural characteristics, which include diversity of skills, independence, creativity, uniqueness, is justified by the fact that it is the basis for interpersonal relationships and stimulation of desire for interaction, communication.
Considering the technology of education managers’ pedagogical practice, the author associates it with different types of previous practices, proposes the mode of students’ work for the period of practice, describes the functional responsibilities involved in the leadership of the practice. The content, forms of organization, methods, techniques and practices that contribute to the development of modern manager’s subjective qualities, that can make meaningful application of deeply understood theoretical knowledge and creatively implement it, are characterized.
The results of the study of the problem of formation of the basic principles of professional and pedagogical practice and technology of its use are generalized; the place and role of the problem in the process of education managers’ training are analysed, conclusions are formulated.
