Philosophical and scientific prerequisites of optimization of students’ independent activity in higher education in Ukraine

Abstract

The article deals with the issues regarding the optimization of higher education which envisages deepening of the content of students’ professional training. It is pointed out that mastering the auditory component of knowledge does not allow to ensure the process of their full assimilation by students. The laws of philosophy in terms of pedagogical background of students’ independent activity are analyzed. It is found out that only the system of independently-formed knowledge is capable of enhancing whereas the amount of fact knowledge is a dogma. Basic rules of students’ independent activity in terms of philosophic categories are singled out (the optimization of students’ independent activity is worth implementing in the process of studying taking into account the close connection with the development of professional education as a general idea and the independent education as a particular one; the efficiency of the independent activity, besides scientific grounding and prediction of the time interval of appearing of the real results of optimization, it acquires providing certain conditions in the studying environment, students’ and teachers’ adaptation to them which enables to get the best result of the professional training with the minimum of time and efforts spent; one of the most important tasks of students’ independent activity is highlighting the laws underlying its optimization among other accidental phenomena; in the independent activities of a student it’s necessary to implement the unity of content, form, function and structure as neglecting the forms of optimization prevents from the developing of its content and underestimation of the functions prevents from the innovation changes of the structure of education; independent education envisages first of all understanding of its inner sense, clearing up the contradicting tendencies of professionalism in training students which enables the development of the external branch of the independent activity; to provide the background and to use the optimization of independent education it’s necessary to reveal its essence, study the inner processes and not to highlight just the external aspect of the phenomenon of optimization).
