The criteria of efficiency of management of professional development of pedagogical workers on the basis of the motivational mechanism are defined, namely: normative-administrative, financial-economic, social-psychological. The normative-administrative criterion reflects the extent to which the subjects of management are guided by the professional interests, needs, requests of teachers and act through legal norms. The financial and economic criterion indicates the financial capacity of management to provide material incentives for teachers to professional development and act taking into account the results of professional growth of teachers and educational performance. Socio-psychological criterion is based on the use of management subjects of moral incentives to work and act in the interests of professional development of each teacher and improve the quality of activities of the educational institution.
