POTENTIALITY OF USING DIGITAL TOOLS FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF QUEST-TECHNOLOGIES WITH EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE
Abstract
The topical problem of using game learning technologies, in particular quest technologies, in the conditions of digitalization of education is considered in the article. Possibilities of using digital tools for implementation of game means of teaching and education in the educational process are analyzed, the necessity of formation of digital and language competence of schoolchildren in conditions of wide introduction of information and communication technologies is substantiated; the use of quest technologies as a practical tool for implementing game teaching methods is proposed; The educational online resource «Visiting the Language Cleaner» is presented, it contains a complex of online resources for repetition of material from the Ukrainian language, as well as - two online quests of different levels of difficulty to test knowledge: «Small Language Cleaner» – a web-quest tasks of the initial level of complexity, «Language Cleaner» – a web-quest with more tasks of different levels of complexity; the way of development of own multimedia interactive tasks for web-quests using the LearningApps service is proposed; Google for Education services were used to implement the educational resource and create web-quests, which make it possible to combine traditional and innovative forms and methods of learning, which is especially important in the context of the introduction of distance and blended learning; the results of approbation of the educational resource «Visiting the Language Cleaner" and approbation of web-quests conducted in Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University for children of Ivano-Frankivsk region during the weeks «Interesting vacation» in the framework of the project «University of Gifted Children» are described; the results of the approbation give grounds to assert the expediency of using the educational online resource «Visiting the Language Cleaner» in order to form the digital and language competence of students. It is substantiated that the use of web-quests allows to activate children's mental activity in the form of games, motivate and interest them, improve the quality of learning and its effectiveness, as well as move away from traditional forms of learning and significantly expand the educational space through digital tools.
