POSTGRADUATE EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT OF PEDAGOGICAL WORKERS IN PRESCHOOL EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS OF UKRAINE (50s OF THE ХХ CENTURY)
Abstract
The article is devoted to the historical and pedagogical peculiarities of pedagogical workers of the advanced training in preschool education institutions of Ukraine. The factors that contributed to the beginning of the advanced training system of kindergartens in the early 50s of the ХХ century were identified. The main events of this period are characterized, during which there was an accumulation of experience in advanced training and the content formation of postgraduate education.
It is determined that in the study period in order to ensure the pedagogical workers of the advanced training in kindergartens of Ukraine, public education authorities focused on the implementation of directives and instructions of the Ministry of Education of the USSR.
It was established that the center of advanced training were the offices of preschool education at the regional institutes of teacher training. The main forms of professional development of teachers were course and seminar retraining, as well as methodological associations, scientific and practical conferences, study, generalization and dissemination of best practices, consultations on educational work with children.
During the theoretical and practical classes at the advanced training courses the issues necessary for the organization of the preschool institution work and the peculiarities of the organization of work with preschool children were covered.
Workers of pedagogical and agricultural institutes, workers of the regional department of public education, the institute of teacher training as well as the best teachers of pedagogical schools and teachers of schools in the city were among the lecturers.
