Abstract

In the article, language teachers are invited to familiarize themselves with the latest trends in the Ukrainian language, which are based on signs of organicity and logic, in contrast to the copied Russian-language units, which were actively introduced into the Ukrainian language under the conditions of the empire, in particular, into its scientific style. At all levels of the national language, the use of certain illogical forms can be traced, which not only reveal the inorganic nature of the language, but also pose a threat to its structural development.
It has been proven that for all Russian-language calicos there are specific counterparts in the Ukrainian language, some of which are of ancient origin (toll, border etc.), later (tax, stays, in particular, etc.), and most of which are more logical and, of course, more organic on the basis of the Ukrainian language. It has been found that the compilers of dictionaries and reference books are not always guided by the main principle in the modern development of our national language - in the first place is the specific Ukrainian-language counterpart, and then the tracing (and even then with the "outdated" mark). This principle is extremely important and decisive today, because the development of not only the state language, but also of Ukrainian statehood in general depends on its observance, which must get rid of Russian-Soviet vestiges and markers as soon as possible.
It has been concluded that illogical forms in the Ukrainian language mainly come from Russian as the language of the former metropolis, and therefore these forms are marked with a marker of imperial culture and ideology, which is traced on the example of individual words (necessary, must, employee, etc.). With that, an ideological extra-linguistic component has been discovered, which poses a threat to both the Ukrainian language and other spheres of social life – administrative, legal, economic, etc. Such a threat is even more complicated in the conditions of war, where the role of the invader is that former metropolis.
