Abstract

The article deals with the theoretical aspects of destructive behaviour of teenagers. It has been determined that destructiveness is inherent in every person, but it is most pronounced in the transitional age. The characteristic features of the destructive behaviour model of minors have been revealed and it has been noted that such behaviour is characteristic of teenagers with a low degree of socialization, who avoid society and are poorly adapted to its conditions. It has been found that destructive behaviour is a multi-determined phenomenon, because it is caused by a system of interrelated factors.
The types of destructive behaviour of teenagers and the forms of their manifestation have been considered in the article. It has been found that externally destructive behaviour has an antisocial direction, because it is aimed at destroying the social norms of behaviour accepted in society. A teenager opposes himself to the moral, ethical or cultural norms that operate in society. Forms of manifestation of outwardly destructive behaviour of teenagers are slander, violation of social norms and rules, moral humiliation of others, vandalism, ecocide, cruel treatment of animals that can lead to their death, intentional physical harm to people, etc. It has been established that the internally destructive type of behaviour of teenagers (self-destructive behaviour) is aimed at self-destruction of the personality and his/her disintegration. Such behaviour manifests itself in such forms as computer addiction and gambling, deviations in eating behaviour, chemical addictions, changing appearance through body modification, risky actions, auto-aggression, risky sexual behaviour, suicidal behaviour, etc. As a separate type of destructive behaviour of teenagers, the destruction of minors in the educational environment has been highlighted.
The content of the main indicators of destructive behaviour of teenagers, which are psychological changes in the personality and changes in the appearance of children and their behaviour, has been revealed.
