FEATURES OF TRAINING STUDENTS MAJORING IN 242 “TOURISM” AT THE KHMELNYTSKY ACADEMY OF HUMANITIES AND EDUCATION
Abstract
The article considers the peculiarities of training students majoring in 242 “Tourism” at the Khmelnytsky Academy of Humanities and Education. Tourism is defined as a priority sector of economic development of Khmelnytsky region. The development of tourism places high demands on the level of training for the industry.
In the process of developing the educational program, the experience of educational and professional programs of the Free Economic Zone of Ukraine and European countries was taken into account. Cooperation with regional enterprises has been established, cooperation agreements have been signed. The purpose of training is to master general and professional competencies for the successful implementation of professional activities in the field of tourism and recreation. This correspondence is evidenced by: a thorough study of basic theoretical concepts. The principles that determine the patterns of training are defined. Methods, techniques and technologies are standard and include general and special scientific methods: geographical, economic, sociological, psychological, informational, methods of tourist services.
Students are participants in master classes, seminars, online courses on domestic and foreign educational platforms, competitions, contests, trainings, conferences, webinars. Educational and methodical support and counseling of independent work is carried out by means on the platform Moodle, Google Classroom, Zoom. Scientific circles function at the department. The introduction of the educational program “Tourism” in the educational process is carried out through the formation of an individual educational trajectory of applicants.
The uniqueness of the educational program lies in the development of tourism in the formation and development of territorial communities. Applicants are involved in the practical development and implementation of a tourist product within the project “Tourist Magnets”. Student self-government is active in the academy.
