SCIENTIFIC AND METHODIC COMPETENCE OF A TUTOR AS A REPRESENTATIVE OF MODERN MODELS OF TEACHING PROFESSION IN UKRAINIAN EDUCATIONAL SPACE
Abstract
The article analyzes and highlights main approaches to formulation, definition and development of scientific and methodic competence according to classification characteristics of professiograms of teachers in postgraduate pedagogical education, especially tutors, conceptualizes principles, approaches and technologies of their training with formed competence of formation and development synergism. Conceptual and categorical apparatus of research "tutor", "tutor", "tutoring", "tutoring activity" is defined. Definition of the concept of "professional scientific and methodical competence of a tutor" is formulated, which we consider as an integral characteristic that includes the creation and implementation of individual educationalstuden’s trajectory, his academic support for self-educational activity, values and lifestyle formation (healthy, professionally convinced, socially and environmentally responsible, civil); possession of qualities and abilities: confidence, motivation, positive attitude, creativity, enthusiasm and perseverance; is a set of developed competencies (pedagogical, psychological, methodological, methodical, distance, e-, online learning, technical, organizational, professional, online communication, individual and personal); professional formation of joint activity with a tutor, optimally selected and complicated scientific and educational material; correspondence with efficiency, impartiality and efficiency of competence assessment, stimulation and motivation of independent educational activity.Tutor’s professional profile in postgraduate pedagogical education with characteristic of professional training peculiarities, conceptualization of system qualities, knowledge, abilities, formation, readiness, responsibility and appropriateness is developed. Scientific and methodological tools for defining principles, approaches, types of tutoring in education, techniques and leading roles are maintained. Types of competencies, expected results and opportunities for tutoring in education are analyzed and singled out.
