CHALLENGES OF THE PANDEMIC: COMPUTERIZATION OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS OF PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF FUTURE TRANSLATORS
Abstract
The article analyzes the computerization of the educational process of professional training of future translators as challenges of a pandemic. The urgency of computerization of the educational process of professional training of future translators in the context of the impact of COVID-19 on Ukrainian higher education and the use of blended and online learning today is undeniable. The use of information and communication technologies in the training of future foreign philologists and translators (e-mail, social networks, Internet blogs, online dictionaries and translators, foreign language learning services, etc.) is considered.
During the pandemic, online education was a pedagogical breakthrough in the modern approach to teaching and learning in higher education. This is training in Zoom, virtual approaches, webinars. The pandemic reviewed the basics of online learning in education, updated the existing resources of higher education institutions, conducting online learning through virtual classrooms and other online resources. It is important for a future translator to be able to use ICT in their professional activities and use them appropriately and in a timely manner. Internet resources contribute to the intensification and modernization of the content of translation training. The main tool of the future translator is an electronic dictionary. Machine translation programs are considered. In the professional training of future translators, attention is paid to educational Internet resources
At Khmelnytsky National University, the modular environment is an additional modern means of communication between the teacher and the group during the implementation of educational activities. The Moodle environment provides an opportunity to organize the work of future translators.
The effectiveness and intensification of professional training of future translators is achieved through the active use of computer technology and information technology using various methods and techniques of organizing educational activities.
