
Archiving and Long-Term Preservation Policy
General Provisions
The Editorial Board of the collection of scientific papers "Pedagogical Almanac" (hereinafter referred to as the Publication) adheres to the principles of Open Science and encourages authors to self-archive their scholarly works.
Author Rights to Self-Archiving
Authors publishing articles in the "Pedagogical Almanac" retain the right to store (deposit) versions of their manuscripts in open access repositories:

Accepted Author Manuscript (AAM / Post-print): The final peer-reviewed version accepted for publication may be deposited in open access immediately, without any embargo period.

Version of Record (Publisher’s PDF / VoR): The final published version in the journal's layout may be shared by authors following official publication.

Preprints: The self-archiving of preprints (manuscripts prior to peer review) is not permitted.
Permitted Deposition Platforms
Authors are free to deposit all eligible versions of their materials in:

Institutional repositories of higher education and research institutions;

Thematic (subject-specific) repositories;

Personal academic profiles;

The Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine;

Any other open access platforms of the author's choice.
Archiving and Long-term Preservation Policy
Technical Means and Digital Preservation:

DOI: Each article is assigned a unique Digital Object Identifier (prefix 10.37915), ensuring a persistent link to the published content.

OAI-PMH: The journal utilizes the OJS platform, supporting the Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting for automated indexing and metadata distribution.

National Repositories: Full-text versions of all issues are deposited in the digital repository of the Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine.
Availability Guarantees
The Editorial Board ensures the long-term accessibility of all scientific papers. In the event that the journal ceases publication or the website becomes unavailable, the archive remains accessible through:

The Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine’s electronic funds.

The Institutional Repository of the Kherson Academy of Continuing Education.

The publisher's internal servers, which undergo regular weekly data backups to prevent data loss.
Licensing
The Publication applies the Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0). Authors retain copyright to their work and grant the Publication the right of first publication. This license permits free non-commercial use and distribution of the material, provided that the authors and the Publication are properly credited and that any derivative works are shared under identical licensing terms.
Recommendation to Authors
The Editorial Board strongly encourages authors to deposit their Accepted Author Manuscripts (AAM) into relevant institutional or thematic repositories simultaneously with or following publication. This practice enhances the visibility, citation impact, and scholarly accessibility of the published research.
