THE PECULIARITIES OF THE ORGANIZATION OF STUDENTS RESEARCH WORK IN UKRAINIAN AND FOREIGN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

Abstract

At the present stage of the development of the vocational education and training, research is one of the priority components of vocational training as well as a significant factor in ensuring the high quality of higher education and improving the competitiveness of Ukrainian university education. The main objective of higher education is to train a qualified specialist of the appropriate level and profile who is competitive in the labor market, competent, fluent in the profession and oriented in related fields of activity, ready for constant professional growth, social and professional mobility. One way to solve this problem is to improve higher education, change the focus from the learning process to its results, focus the content and organization of the training on a competent approach and, thus, find effective mechanisms for its implementation through the modernization of the educational process, students' self-study and research work.

Making essential changes to the existing system of professional training of future teachers is of utmost importance. In particular, these changes include providing professional pedagogy with a research character, its focus on the search for new alternative and progressive ideas as well as for improving and developing professional adaptation of future teachers to the development of perspective innovative concepts and technologies for the successful student involvement in professionally oriented research work.

With the aim of training a specialist and a scientist, the main task is to plan the research work so that this process is continuous, that is starting with the first year of study at the university. The beginning of the student studying should become a kind of a school of the principles of scientific culture bases, self-knowledge and self-regulation of the future researcher. High school teachers should actively use interactive teaching methods, problematic material presentation while teaching students the effective use of relevant competencies to analyze and solve problems. In addition, they should give creative tasks that require the use of acquired research skills.
