ANALYSIS OF THE CONCEPT «DEVELOPMENT OF POSTGRADUATE EDUCATION OF PRESCHOOL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS PEDAGOGICAL PERSONNEL»

Abstract

The article considers the meaning of the concepts development, education, adult education”, postgraduate education”, postgraduate pedagogical education, preschool educational institution. Philosophical and literary sources are studied, the content of state documents on postgraduate pedagogical education and components of the educational system, particularly the Laws of Ukraine “On Education”, “On Preschool Education” is highlighted. Draw on the analysis of the specified concepts the author proposes own definition. “Development of postgraduate education of preschool educational institutions pedagogical personnel” as qualitative changes in the field of continuous education aimed at developing professional pedagogical competence of personnel of preschool educational institutions in accordance with development priorities of national educational system and promote the successful completion of tasks in the field of preschool education.

The works of Ukrainian scientists, in particular I. Zhorova, S. Krysiuk, A. Kuzminsky, V. Primakova, N. Protasova and I. Tytarenko, are  analyzed and processed on the subject of these concepts. Particular attention is paid to approaches to the definition of concepts in the context of development and differentiation of education in relation to the conceptual and terminological apparatus of the study. It was found that during the definitive analysis of the concept of postgraduate education there are differences in the interpretation of this concept in the works of researchers. Common characteristics can be traced in the definition of postgraduate education as a system, environment where professional development takes place in a certain content, forms and results of education. Differences can be traced in the definition of postgraduate education as a kind of two-phase phenomenon, which includes both higher education and obtaining professional knowledge in the system of postgraduate education.
