Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the theoretical foundations of the innovative competence of modern specialists in the field of pedagogy.

The article highlights the concept of "innovative competence" in the context of reforming Ukrainian education, modernizing the professional competence of a teacher in a modern educational institution from the standpoint of the ability to solve tasks qualitatively; generalization of relevant knowledge, skills, experience, professional qualities, which implies the presence of innovative perception, formation of innovations, unity of critical thinking, creative imagination, motivational and value attitude to professional activity, awareness of own experience; the ability to reflect, the ability to see something new in the relatively stable and offer a fundamentally new solution to a problem.

Attention is paid, on the one hand, to the understanding of innovative activity as a new formation arising on the basis of various initiatives and innovations; on the other hand, innovative activity is interpreted as the process of creating, introducing and spreading new ideas, methods, pedagogical and management technologies in educational practice. Based on the comparison of different approaches, in terms of pedagogical activity, the author postulates the understanding of innovative competence as a systemic characteristic of teachers, which reflects the level of their latest and professional training, educational practice and personal democratic position.

The essence of the teacher's innovative competence is revealed through the analysis of its structure as a set of interconnected, mutually conditioned and complementary components - projective, cognitive, creative, technological and regulatory. All components are interconnected and determine the formation of innovative competence of the future teacher.

Integrative personal education determines the teacher's ability to qualitatively solve the tasks of pedagogical activity based on pedagogical innovation through the synthesis of the necessary knowledge, skills, experience of activity, provided that the relevant professional qualities are formed.
