BLACK SEA REGION: CERTAIN ASPECTS OF MILITARY-NAVY EDUCATION
Abstract
The article represents certain aspects of the education of the countries of the Black Sea region, in particular, in the conditions of military aggression by the Russian Federation as a result of "frozen conflicts". The geopolitical and strategic role of this region in modern conditions for world stability and security is emphasized. Certain positions of individual standardizing documents regulating the cooperation of the countries of the Black Sea region, which affect the system of training of highly qualified specialists, are outlined. The role and importance of Turkey and Romania in ensuring stability and security in the region are highlighted.
The purpose of the article is to outline certain aspects of naval education of the countries of the Black Sea region, in particular in the context of modern military-political and geopolitical changes.
Attention was drawn to the fact that in 2021, within the framework of naval cooperation, the Sea Breeze-2021 joint exercises of the Naval forces of Ukraine and the second permanent NATO naval group took place as a result of changes in the system of higher military education of the countries of the Black Sea region.
The following conclusions were drawn: 1. The Black Sea region is strategic for ensuring stability and security in the context of the geopolitical world changes of today. 2. The issue of cooperation between the countries of the Black Sea region has both productive and unsuccessful experiences, however, it is military and economic cooperation that is designed to ensure stable economic development of the region. 3. The interest of NATO member countries (observers) and powerful players on the world stage testify to the powerful potential of the Black Sea region. 4. The role of Turkey, declared in the Montreux Convention, is decisive in the conditions of modern military operations. Romania was favored to become an A2/AD hub. 5. The Black Sea region is a powerful component of the strategic "four seas initiative".
