PRINCIPLES OF TRAINING FUTURE CHOREOGRAPHY TEACHERS IN HIGHER PEDAGOGICAL INSTITUTIONS OF THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA: WAYS TO OVERCOME CONTRADICTIONS

Abstract

The article reviews the problematic issues of reforming the system of training future choreography teachers in higher pedagogical institutions of the People's Republic of China at the current stage of development. It was determined how the large-scale reform of the education system of the PRC in 2015-2020, the COVID-19 pandemic and related processes of rapid development of distance education, socio-political transformations of the last years affected the choreography teacher training system. An analysis of the problems observed recently in the professional training of future choreography teachers in the PRC was carried out. The key factors affecting the quality of future choreography teachers training in the modern PRC have been identified. Author's view on the components of forecasting and modeling of the process of training specialists in the field of choreographic education has been offered.
It is determined that in order to overcome the existing crisis in the system of training future choreography teachers in higher pedagogical institutions of the PRC, it is necessary to pay attention to the issue of improving the content of choreography teachers professional training, taking into balance of innovations and the preservation of traditional national forms of choreography. It is substantiated that it is necessary to solve a number of professional pedagogical problems, including: professional self-determination of future specialists in the field of artistic and aesthetic choreographic activity; construction of ways to ensure the quality of training of future teachers of choreography in the conditions of a market economy; peculiarities of the work of choreography teachers in the conditions of distance education; creation of various models of students' leisure time artistic activities, design of cultural and physical foundations of choreographic education. These and other aspects are emphasized in the article.
