THEORETICAL FOUNDATIONS OF THE FORMATION OF THE FUTURE OFFICERS’ PEDAGOGICAL CULTURE

Abstract

The article analyses the theoretical foundations of the formation of the future officers’ pedagogical culture. Military education is integrated into the state education system on the basis of a single legislative and regulatory framework. The factors contributing to the effective functioning of the military education system are identified. It is focused on the Concept of the Development of the Security and Defense Sector of Ukraine, namely on the important directions of the development of the specified sector.
Military education is based on the principles of scientific character, humanism, democracy, consistency and continuity and is carried out on the basis of a competency-based approach. Military education is a process of professional training of military specialists who possess systematized, fundamental and special knowledge of military science, necessary for servicemen for military service and military duty performing, practical activities, strengthening the combat readiness of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and creating material, intellectual and spiritual values in the interests of ensuring national security and defense of Ukraine.
Special attention is focused on issues of formation of various types of future officers’ culture (managerial, communicative, speech, pedagogical, etc.). It is important to improve the future officers’ managerial and communicative culture. The works of many researchers are devoted to the problems of the formation of pedagogical culture of specialists of various specialties. There are elements of the officer’s military-pedagogical training, talent and general culture in the specific manifestations of their pedagogical culture. A role in the development of their cultural level is played by psychological features and abilities: thinking, feelings, will, orientation of the individual, as well as specific knowledge, abilities, skills and habits.
The theoretical analysis of the conceptual and terminological field of the research on the problem of formation of the pedagogical culture of future officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine outlines new tasks, the first priority of which is to determine the peculiar features of the formation of the pedagogical culture of future officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in higher military educational institutions.
