After analyzing scientific and pedagogical sources, the term "training" is defined as a holistic process of formation of professional knowledge, skills, practical experience and appropriate ethical standards of conduct by which effective professional activities are implemented. And other pedagogical scientists characterize the importance of such training in the mastery of vocational education, resulting in the acquisition of productive knowledge, integrative skills and the formation of important individual and professional qualities.
Based on the analysis of scientific research, a number of main tasks of continuing professional education are identified. A professional model of a pharmaceutical specialist has been formed. There is reason to believe that the personality model of a pharmaceutical specialist should include a description of the system of his qualities that ensure the effective implementation of professional tasks, as well as his self-development, given the dynamics of individual development, future professional activity.
