EDUCATIONAL WORK ON THE PREVENTION OF INFECTIOUS DISEASE OF SCABIES IN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION

Abstract

The article analyzes the scientific and pedagogical literature, statistical information of the Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine on indicators of infectious scabies in Ukraine for 2016-2021, the State Institution «Rivne Regional Laboratory Center» of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, and Municipal Enterprise «Regional Center for Public Health» of Rivne Regional Council.
Emphasis is on the expediency and application of educational and informational work, development and implementation in the educational process of higher education of interdisciplinary scientific knowledge of safety, health nature for the formation of modern specialists. The work bases on life safety competencies, socio-communicative, cultural and professional competencies.
The problem of preserving public and personal health through the system of relations «man-society-nature» is covered.
The article raises the problem of insufficient awareness of students of higher education institutions about the social and natural dangers associated with infectious diseases (for example, scabies).
The article pays attention to the low level of knowledge of students about ways to avoid and protect (prevent) scabies.
The survey presents the results of the comparative characteristics of scabies outbreaks in Rivne, Rivne region and Ukraine for 5.5 consecutive years.
The article presents the data of research work in the report, lecture and practical employment, preparation of students for the International conference and participation in the Round table «Educational work with participants of educational process on the prevention of infectious diseases».
It is concluded need to increase the level of knowledge of students of higher education through educational work, education of health culture, formation of skills of safe behavior throughout life, which allows mastering the theoretical foundations of the problem and systematization of theoretical knowledge.
