READINESS TO USE INFORMATION AND COGNITIVE TECHNOLOGIES AS A RESULT OF FUTURE TEACHERS PREPARATION FOR THEIR PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES
Abstract
The article based on analysis of pedagogical theory and practice reveals possibilities and tendencies of formation of readiness for use of information and cognitive technologies. It is noted that all life in the modern world is based on information receiving. Someone who learns faster, can collect and analyze a large amount of data, gets a significant advantage over other people. The learning process must also be adapted to modern realities, so new teaching methods and technologies are emerging. In our opinion, the most effective ways of obtaining knowledge are based on the use of information and cognitive educational technologies.
The attention is paid to the fact that we determine readiness for the use of information and cognitive technologies taking into account the features of information and cognitive activity, the specifics of information and cognitive training and personality qualities that define the effectiveness and productivity of future professional activities.
It is impossible to form a student’s readiness to use information and cognitive technologies of future teachers if a student has a low level of intelligence, cognitive skills and thinking abilities are not developed as well.
Here are presented the results of identification of the intelligence development level, of cognitive skills, of thinking properties with the help of methodology of a personality study, R. Amthauer test, “Intellectual Lability” technique at the acknowledging and formative stages of the study.
The positive dynamics of readiness levels for the use of information and cognitive technologies in the process of organizing and conducting of professional training proved the effectiveness of the experimental methodology for the development of the studied formation.
It can be concluded that the components of development of the readiness of future teachers to use information and cognitive technologies during the special disciplines study affect the nature of their attitude to professional activities positively.
