RESEARCH OF PROFESSIONALLY IMPORTANT QUALITIES OF A FUTURE SHIP NAVIGATOR THROUGH PRISM OF ACMEOLOGICAL COMPETENCE
Abstract
The article substantiates the content of the concept of "professional activity" in the profession of a ship navigator, defines its features and specifics. The main qualities of the professional activity of the navigator and the factors that determine its specificity have been determined. Attention is focused on the main professionally important qualities of a specialist, interpretations of such qualities for a ship navigator are given.
The concept of "acmeological competence of the future driver" is explained, its structure is defined. The structural components of the acmeological competence of the future ship navigator are singled out: cognitive-professional – the system of acme-knowledge and acme-experience; motivational-value – a system of motives and value orientations of behavior; operational-communicative – a system of acme-skills, acme-skills, acme-activities and acme-actions; evaluative-reflexive – a system of monitoring personal and professional self-development. The following functions of acmeological competence are defined and characterized: informative (free operation of acme-knowledge), technological (mastering acme-skills and methods of action, formation of acme-skills), communicative (transmission, reception and exchange of information, due to which mutual understanding and coordination of members’ actions takes place), crew, regulatory (definition and adoption of norms of behavior in the professional environment, the establishment of interpersonal relationships), axiological (determination of values). At the same time, the acmeological competence of the future ship navigator is, on the one hand, a means, and on the other – the result of updating the individual personal resources of cadets, which allow to effectively carry out the process of personal and professional self-development and on this basis to perform professional tasks.
