METHODOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF DIGITALIZATION IN POSTGRADUATE PEDAGOGICAL EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS: REGULARITIES AND SCIENTIFIC APPROACHES

Abstract

The article presents certain positions of digitalization in institutions of postgraduate pedagogical education. We see its purpose in covering such methodological aspects of digitalization transformation in these institutions as patterns and scientific approaches. The tasks of our scientific research are to determine: patterns of digitalization of institutions of postgraduate pedagogical education; characteristic features of the didactic system of providing cognitive activity in the modern educational process; the essence of scientific approaches to digital didactics; the content of the functional load of the teacher-engineer. The methodological basis is the conceptual provisions of the «Education. Strategies of Ukraine 2030» document, approved by the Ukrainian Іnstitute for the Future(2019); philosophical, scientific and pedagogical aspects of education; methodological principles of digitalization, didactics and digital didactics; analysis and generalization of the received information and significant aspects for the possibility of further clearer content designing, methodology and techniques of digital didactics and effective training of teachers-engineers. The research is carried out in line with a complex combination of system-structural and contextual approaches for the consideration of such methodological aspects of digital transformation in institutions of postgraduate pedagogical education as regularities and scientific approaches. The system-structural approach contributes to the presentation of digitalization in postgraduate pedagogical education both from the standpoint of the process of transitioning to an electronic system, and in the context of wide application of theoretical and methodological principles of digital didactics in the educational process. The contextual approach allows to consider the specified problem in the light of modern scientific developments. The research methods are: structural-analytical method, provides an opportunity to study the relationships between different ideas; method of systematization of scientific ideas; method of interpretation of factual data; method of prognostic thinking with a focus on predicting a qualitative result. The novelty of the study is in identifying patterns, proposing certain scientific approaches to digital didactics, highlighting the characteristics of the didactic system of cognitive activity in modern institutions of postgraduate pedagogical education and highlighting the basic provisions on the vectors of training of their teachers-engineers.
